Catch a Falling Snowflake

Can you believe it is November!! I can't. Summer has definitely made its departure.  There is more than a cool nip in the air; the temps have been dipping down into the 30's at night here in Northern VA and the days are beginning to grow cold. Of course with all this cooler weather my mind is on snow....and snowmen.

This is an original design from Aly's Room.  I've painted it on a cutting board, added some jingle bells, a snowflake made from salt dough and a prim tag. It's called Catch a Falling Snowflake.

Remember trying to catch snowflakes as a child? How they would melt as soon as they touched your hand? Or, trying to catch them on your tongue? well, maybe that was just me.  Snowflakes seem magical to me. They fall silently yet I can hear them when they hit the dry leaves in the woods that surround our house. It is said that each flake is unique, unlike all the others; can you imagine that!  It's hard to comprehend since billions of snowflakes have fallen..and they're all uniquely different? Wow! that's amazing!

By the way, I will be posting this cutting board as a give away soon.  Stay tuned for details.

Wouldn't this be perfect for a wynter thyme kitchen?

Thanks for taking a peek at my newest design.

Till Next Time

Willa, I just love all the items you tease us with! Getting ready to put away my "fall" coffee pot I purchased from you and bring out my winter/Christmas decor, since it may start snowing here in Idaho tonight!
Bless you,
Sheila
