It's been awhile since I have done a give away here at The Old Cupboard Door so I'm excited to announce this give away. This is an Aly's Room original pattern that I painted onto a wine bottle...sorry the wine is gone but the bottle's pretty.
Remember Jacz? This is the painted version of him. This was such a fun one to paint, honestly, they all are. I first cleaned the bottle and let it dry, then I used a couple of coats of gesso so the primer would stick well. Then 2 coats of primer; all that just to get the bottle ready to paint. Before it goes to its new home I will add a couple coats of varnish to protect the paint. I don't like to put the varnish on before I take pics because it usually creates a glare.
