What I'm Working On.

I'm working on several items at one time.  I find that I have to go with flow when inspiration is knocking at my door. These items are still in the "I'm working on it" stage, I'll be sharing the photos when I'm finished. But for today I am sharing my cupboard door with you.  Well actually it's a door off the entertainment center; my sweetie took them off a couple of years ago and I've been intending to paint them for the past year.  I set one near my studio table, glancing at it every now and then considering what I want to do with it. Finally, I saw it! Plain and simple! No doubt about it! Absolutely! It is suppose to be a chalkboard.  I love the chalkboards I've seen around different places I visit on the WWW and knew sooner or later, I would be making one.

Ok...this is the preliminary stage.  I've painted it with primer and laid in the chalkboard paint. It's messy at the moment with some of the chalkboard paint smeared where it isn't suppose to be but I'm still adding colors. I'm painting over the primer with an antique green, and finishing it with a soft light greyish blue. I'll sand and chip it down to the green. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works.  I'm almost finished with it but I'll save the reveal till Monday..Hopefully.

Thanks for stopping by.  Stay tuned
