The Old Is New Again...
Finally! I linked my posts to my pages in my tabs. I don't know why it took me so long to figure this out, well, actually I didn't figure it out, I had to Google how to do it but after that, it was easy peasy. While I was working on labeling my posts I took a stroll down Memory Lane. I looked through some of my favorite posts and some of my painted items. Oh I remember writing that post or I remember creating that item I thought. It's funny how something old can be new again.
While looking through my painted items post I couldn't find this Ginger box in any of them, even though I painted it about 3 years ago. So, I am sharing this Old for me but New to you piece.
I cut this ginger girl from 1" pine, I painted a Terrye French design in the center. This is one of Terrye's "older' designs, every time I paint it, it seems new again. I attached the wood cut out to an old drawer that I found at one of the local thrift stores ( a place where old can be new again.) I added some greenery and cookie cutters to complete it.
How about you? Do you have any old is new again stories?

Willa, you have some mad artist skills!! I love prim art and I wish I could draw even an apple. I was never blessed in that department. This is as cute as can be. Good for you getting your stuff linked up. I've been saying it for a year and I am just terrified of tackling the drop down menu or anything else design wise. I'm so scared I screw up and loose everything I've done so far.
Love your Gingerbread box Willa.
Then again, I Love all your paintings.
You are a wonderful artist.
Enjoy your day!
Sandi
