MIA

Hello Blogger Friends,

I apologize for being MIA for so long. Believe me I have lots of excuses but I'll only share the one.

I mentioned here that I got a job. I had the perfect hours but that changed. My shift changed to a day shift so now I am getting up at 2:45 AM...yes, I said AM. It makes for a long, tiring day. I am adjusting to the difference finally and perking up. All I wanted to do when I came home was go to bed but there are chores to do as well as spending some time with the family before I fall into bed around 8:30. It's not been easy but like I said I am starting to adjust.

In all of this my Etsy shop has suffered as well as my blogging. I've had good intentions but until I got over the energy drain of all this, I simply could not make it happen.

With all that said, let me introduce you to Mr. Bones. Mr Bones is cut from 1" pine and wired together. He's a custom order from an Etsy customer. I must say I am glad to be painting again. I have another project on my table that I will be sharing with you once it is finished, hopefully this week. I didn’t realize how much I had missed blogging and visiting other blogs until I signed on and opened my blog page.

Thanks for understanding my MIA.

Glad to have you back Willa and to hear that everything is fine. I used to have a job that got me up at 3 am, so I know just how exhausting it can be. Wishing you all the best!

Hi Willa, So glad you're back!!! I know what busyness is and how hard it is to maintain some sort of life outside of work. It's hard to even cut out a chunk of time for yourself when there's so many other responsibilities calling out for attention. Try to find some "me" time. It's not selfish - it's therapeutic!

We were all so worried not knowing what was going on. Glad to hear everything's okay and that you're adjusting to your new schedule. If you find any extra hours in the day tell me where they were hiding. LOL.

Mr. Bones is so adorable, Willa! I'm glad you've found a little time to paint. I know what you mean. I quit my job 3 months ago, but it was all I could do to keep the home picked up and tend to the family. When you add an exhausting job outside the home, some things suffer. As long as you throw a little painting in there every now and then, you should be okay. When you don't make time for that, then it becomes a problem. Hehe! We all gotta have that creating and crafting time to relax us!! Good to see you're still out there and doing okay. Missed you!
