Hurry, Hurry, Hurry

Hurry, hurry, hurry! Remember those words when you were young? I do, seems that my parents were always hurrying me and my sibs to do this or to do that. While I was still a child I thought I would do everything differently than my parents when I had kids. I finally grew up and sadly, I found myself hurrying my children along too. Hurry and finish your dinner, hurry and get ready for school, hurry put your shoes on, hurry take your shoes off, hurry get ready for bed, hurry get up; hurry, hurry, hurry. Now they are grown and our son has a family of his own. Oh how I wish I had not hurried them, maybe they would still be little and sitting on my knee.
