Ginger Tree

I found this large sifter in a local antique store I love to visit. I eye-spyed it for a few weeks but would pass on purchasing because of the cost. Lo-and-behold one day while I was in the store the vendor had a 25 % off sale. I snatched it up and gave a word of thanks that I didn’t miss the sale. I painted it with a Renee Mullins design. Added a tree with some prim ornaments. The stars and gingers are sewn, slightly stuffed, and prim-ed with coffee and cinnamon. I dusted them with some glamour dust to give them a sugared effect. The star topper and tag are made from salt dough. I’ll be posting this on Etsy tonight or tomorrow. I tried to keep this in a style that could be left out all year long.
