A piece of this and a piece of that.....

This is Tricks, he's a halloween ornament I made from scraps. Don't you love something you can make using up small bits and pieces of materials you have laying around from other projects? I do. Trick's head is a wooden ball; I made his hat from small pieces of left over black felt; and of course the rest of the emblishments are pieces from other stuff as well. He's a perfect size to be tucked in among the other onaments on a tree; that "just right size" when other things are to big to fit. He's found a new home with Robin of The Cranky Crow. He's probably keeping Jacz company.



This is a tutorial I did last year using the same materials as the halloween ornament, with different colors and some different emblishments. They are fun and easy to make.  You can find the tutorial listed here.
