Squirrel Patrol

Not a muscle moving, nor an eye blinking; slow, shallow breaths, every sense on high alert; that's SadieMae on squirrel patrol.  She sits at the French Door leading to the back deck watching for squirrels that visit our bird feeder.  I don't know which is more fun to watch, Sadie or the squirrel trying to get to the squirrel proof bird feeder.

I'm working on few things.  I've mixed up a batch of DIY chalk paint to spruce up a few things.  I've painted a box and a small high back chair.  I love the homemade chalk paint, it goes on smooth and is beautiful once it has been sanded.  I hope to have these two items finished by the weekend so I can show and tell.

I'm a list maker.  I love making lists and crossing my finished items off.  Here are a few of the current items on my list

Paint box and fill with bottles and florals (not sure that's what I'm putting in it)
Paint chair and make drop cloth or burlap pillow for it
Paint bar stools and reupholster seats
Make drop cloth covers (with ruffle) for ottomans.  Add French typography
Paint dining room table and chairs.
Paint kitchen bar (with chalk paint)
Organize kitchen pantry
Paint another giveaway

This is just the list for March...I'm already behind.
