Ok, now for the winner....Oh, first I have to set up the sequence for you..
The name of the potential winners are cut out; they find their way into a large bowl;
around and around they are swished until they are mixed up really well.
And theeeen,...shake, shake, shake...they are mixed up even more.
And theeeen......swish, swish, swish again. They are not only mixed up really well, they are good and mixed up.
And theeeen...one more little shake just for good measure.
Finally, in reaches the hand, should that hand grab the first piece of paper it feels? or should it hold this piece of paper for a moment, contemplating and then move to another one until it knows it holds the perfect strip of paper?
Well that wouldn't be fair would it...the hand is always fair.
The hand swishes around the hopeful pieces of paper and then takes hold of one.
The hand slowly moves out of the bowl; the other hand joins it and together they unfold the selected strip of paper.
The hands raise the paper to the eyes.
The eyes see; the eyes see the lucky winner.... .
"alright!" shouts the mouth (well you knew it couldn't stay shut!).
The hands finish their task by announcing the lucky winner...that's because they know how to type.
And the lucky winner is....
Ooops! the hands need the eyes to make sure again.
Yep, the hands know it's true that Carol...The Firecracker Kid...has won the Jack-O-Pokes! Congratulations Carol! Would you send me your mailing addie so I can get these out to you so you have time to enjoy them before Halloween is gone for another year.
